Eliminate alignment and binding problems on your straight axle front end! Adjustable spring perches allow you to fine-tune your front spring to get the best possible ride and handling characteristics. Perches are forged zinc plated plain steel construction and are long enough to work with lower shock mounts.
- Adjustable pivot shank measures 2" long with 7/8" of threads
- Use with 1-3/4" wide shackle/spring.
- Includes nylock nuts.
- These are cut with a 1/8th inch keyway slot, but the key stock is not included. This can be purchased at almost any hardware/home improvement stores.
These adjustable spring perches replicate the same spring length required as the non adjustable original style. Standard 48” axles with 36-3/8" or 36-1/2” perch centers will still require a 31-1/4” spring and the narrower 46” axles with 2” shorter perch centers will use the 29” spring.

The product's confirmed qualities include high quality materials and practical design. Customers noted that the adjustable perches effectively solved caster issues and other alignment problems. Users praised the product's versatility in eliminating spring bind and creating a smoother ride. Its usability was highlighted in terms of ease of installation, with a noted caveat of careful setup for right shackle angles. The product was repeatedly purchased due to its confirmed durability, ability to improve vehicle performance and its relative superiority to non-adjustable alternatives. While some users remarked that the locking nut was a tight fit, overall, customers recommend this product for solving alignment issues and providing high utility and endurance.

Excellent for tipping a beam axle backwards to create a caster angle but leave the transverse spring square to the chassis which also takes thr twisting stress out of the shackles

The adjustable perches were a simple solution to a major problem. The biggest issue The locking nut for caster adjustment is a very tight fit. Nothing that can't be overcome.

I purchased a set of these 2 years ago. The adjustment allows you to easily set the caster on your straight axle and eliminates any binding. That is why I purchased another set for a new project.

Original builder had split the wishbone and mounted the ends below the frame rails which caused the perches to be on a different angle than the spring eye. Forcing everything together caused binding and was hard on shackles and bushings. Using these put everything in alignment without binding.
