Overall Assessment

Customers appreciate the firmness of our product, noting it doesn't flex or leak like some do. A bit of modification is needed for installation, but once in place, it performs robustly. Some users recommend adding a baffle for a PCV valve. The versatility is demonstrated when, with the help of an adaptor plate, four of our covers were successfully mounted on a BMW 3.0 liter engine, contributing to a potential top speed of 179 MPH. It's a key component in high-performance setups, garnering admiration at rallies and shows.

You will have to either remove a cylinder head or grind notches on the side of the new plate to put it in place on installation. It will not drop in place out of the box with both heads in place.

ROVER IS OVER

Vermont

Verified

Four of these Ford Y-Block Finned Valley Covers, chrome plated will be mounted on a BMW 3.0 liter, direct fuel injection, 1.0 BAR (atmosphere) turbocharged, stand-alone engine generating about 400 horsepower. The engine will power a 1965 ROVER P5 [Never sold in the U.S. in volume] with a 6-speed stick transmission. An adaptor plate will mate the GUIBO (flex-plate) at the back of the transmission to a carbon fiber driveshaft (about 25 lbs) that puts the power into a FORD 9-inch differential (39/13) next to JAGUAR inboard disc brakes and swing axles, all chrome plated or stainless steel. The car, theoretically, will be capable of 179 MPH at 5,700 RPM. This is a rally and show car with the oos and ahs taking a month to die away.

This valley cover eliminates the oil filler tube and breather. How do you add oil with the filler tube gone. My valve covers don't have a filler cap.
