Speedway Motors 91048361 Details
This forged aluminum pinion support is far superior to the original cast iron model. This pinion support uses a standard Ford 9" front pinion bearing and the Daytona style pinion bearing on the rear.
Bearings and races sold seperately.
Timken bearing and race numbers (for reference only):
- M88048 Front pinion bearing
- M88010 Front pinion race
- HM89443 Rear Daytona pinion bearing
- HM89410 Rear Daytona pinion race

This is the 3rd pinion support I have purchased for 9" Ford carrier builds. I also purchase the bearing and seal kit for this unit. I heat the bearing support in the oven to 300 degrees F and put the bearing races in the freezer and let them get down to 0 degrees. The races will slide all the way in, it takes very little effort to get them in. Excellent part!

External dimensions were great. I did have to open up the bearing race seats as they would not initially press in. After a light polishing, the races pressed in with no problem. Everything else was fine.
