Ignition Coil

The Flame-Thrower canister style coil has been engineered to complement our Ignitor Electronic Ignition Conversion Kits and Plug n’ Play Distributors. Choose from the Flame-Thrower, Flame-Thrower II, and the Flame-Thrower III depending upon system voltage and resistance. Oil filled coils offer great heat control for street driven vehicles, while epoxy filled coils provide superior winding support for high vibration environments in off-road vehicles and boats.

  • 45,000 volts.
  • Available chrome plated or black for that "stock look".
  • For use with inductive or CD ignition systems.
  • Low 0.6 Ohm primary resistance.
  • Legal in all 50 states and Canada. (C.A.R.B. E.O. #D-57-21)

Flame Thrower II Canister Coils feature a very low resistance which make them the ideal coil for Ignitor II Electronic Ignition Conversion Kit as well as many other high performance ignitions. Low resistance, higher voltage enables you to run larger spark plug gaps for added power and improved fuel economy.

 

Spark Plug Wire Set

Finally, a set of 7mm supression spark plug cables as a universal plug wire kit for your Flathead.

We started with black, 7mm suppressive core wire that will go through your looms. The 90° black plug boots are installed but you have to install the straight or 90° distributor ends. We even put in enough wire to place your coil on the firewall. Comes with straight boots for the distributor end of the plug wire. Black only.

Two sets of boots/terminals are included, one set for conventional socket-type caps and one set for HEI type caps. The set includes 9 cables, the longest being 51" and the shortest being 24". Use eight for the plugs, one for the coil.
