Firestone 56047 Details
Firestone F560 radial tires are a perfect choice for European sports cars and they also work well on the front of hot rods. The 155R15 sizing allows for many authentic fitments, and this blackwall radial tire is a favorite among Austin Healey, MG, Fiat, Porsche, Volkswagen, Citroen and Renault enthusiasts. The tread design and compound offer great dry and wet handling, while the tall sidewall and narrow tread profile provide the right look for many vintage sports cars. The Firestone F560 is a steel belted radial with P speed rating. All Firestone F560 tires are DOT and ECE approved.

I installed these tires on Rocket Launcher 10-spokes for the front end of my '32 Ford 3-window. They are the exact diameter and width I wanted for the "Altered Coupe" look, and appear to be vintage Firestone's but with modern radial properties.

I cant give a "performance" review per say. I bought this tire because it is narrow enough to fit in the OE spare tire location on our 34 Ford truck. I dreaded the thought of filling in the spare tire "hole" on our original sheet metal truck. I finally decided to track down a tire and rim and display a spare just like the truck would have back in 34. Just a more modern wheel for a somewhat hot rod look.
