Eliminate the need to add a spacer or drill your ladder. This 3 piece extra strength heim threads into the birdcage and reduces to a 3/8" hole.
- 3 piece extra strength rod end with heavy duty shank
- Ball is made of 52100 steel, heat treated and hard chrome plated
- Race is heat treated steel alloy, zinc plated and chromate treated
- Body is 7075-T6 aluminum with hard black anodized finish
- Works with 5/8"-18 thread size jam nuts

I was trying to get rod ends that would fit the axle brackets sold for the straight tube axle, that come with 3/8" holes and not enough meat around the holes to drill out to fit a standard 5/8" rod end. This rod end bridges the gap in more ways than one. The mockup I did had no binds well past the limits of travel so I expect these to wear out before they break.

What size hole? The specs list this as a .625 hole (5/8), but the description states it reduces to a 3/8 hole.
