Details
- Ball is 52100 steel, heat treated and hard chrome plated
- Body is alloy steel, heat treated, black oxide coated
- Race is alloy steel, heat treated, zinc plated, chromate treated
- P.T.F.E. liner
- 1/2" thread
- Choose Left Hand or Right Hand threads
Applications: Clutch, brake, steering linkage, and suspension components on moderate horsepower applications.
Assembly Tip: To ease assembly, be sure to run a tap or die through the threads on chrome plated fasteners and apply an anti-seize compound to prevent galling of the threads.

The FK CMXT series rod ends are one of, if not the best choice for rod ens on a circle track car (Modified). I find that even though these are a little more expensive than the budget rod ends that these are cheaper in the long run since they do not need replaced nearly as often. The TFE liner is by far the way to go for dirt cars. It helps seal out debris and stays free in the dirty environment that we race in.
