I like the fact that the package is all inclusive. The spacer is actually a kit that includes mounting studs, nuts and a gasket to spend installation. The spacer itself meets expectations.

This phenolic spacer is great for insulating the carburetor against heat transfer from the intake manifold. This stops the carburetor from percolating which translates to quicker starts and less wear and tear on the starter.

This spacer isolates the carb from heat from the intake manifold. Fit was perfect and it seems to have improved low end torque. My mechanic told me to install this spacer before he got the car to do a final tune on a new motor. Can feel a difference even before he has worked on it.

This 1" spacer gave the motor better low end pick up off the line. Love the differance! It will also help keep the carburetor cooler by not letting it absorb heat from the manifold. My mechanic recommendRd this spacer, he was correct, he knows his stuff.
