Edelbrock 2116 Details

Based on the popular and powerful Edelbrock #2101, this dual-plane intake is designed for the street rod, industrial and engine swap market utilizing 262-400 c.i.d. Chevy V8s with 1996 and later Vortec (L31) cast iron or the new Edelbrock E-Tec aluminum heads. Manifold has provisions for external water bypass and may be used on either Vortec blocks or 1995 and earlier blocks.

No provision for exhaust heated chokes. Accepts both square-bore and spread-bore carbs and late model waterneck, alternator, HEI and air conditioning brackets. Will not fit under stock Corvette hood.

    • Edelbrock Thunder Series AVS or Performer Series carb, 500-650 cfm
  • Manifold Height @ Front:  3.87"

  • Carb Pad Height:  4.575"
  • Port Exit Dimensions:  2.05" tall (odd shaped width)
  • Stock brackets will require modification to fit the upright manifold bolt holes.

I'm swapping a later year 350 with vortex heads into a 1985 corvette..my question is will this intake clear the hood like the P/N 2101 intake will ?

Are you able to find a CFM flow for this intake manifold? I'm trying to find the cfm between this manifold and the manifold that comes on the sealed 603 gm crate motor too see if I can run the 603 manifold at my local track or if I have to run this manifold if you could get a comparison that would be great thanks

this fits 350 vortec heads? I want to put vortec heads on my 93 350 tbi so all I need to do is buy this intake & the adapter to mount my tbi on this intake Edelbrock 2116 Performer Vortec Small Block Chevy Intake? Do I need anything else? exhaust manifolds,intake bolts? The vortec heads are from a 97 gmc 350 vortec.
