This Edelbrock fuel pressure regulator #174053 is machined from aircraft quality aluminum for those who demand the best. This carbureted fuel pressure regulator has an internal diaphragm made of fluorosilicone to ensure high temperature protection resulting in an extended life. This Edelbrock fuel pressure regulator #174053 is compatible with all grades of gasoline, ethanol, methanol and E85 fuels. Pressure regulation slope is 0.75 psi/gal of flow rate change. Will hold fuel system pressure for at least 20 minutes after pump shutdown. Developed for optimum compatibility with Edelbrock electric fuel pumps. This regulator is available with 1/8" NPT gauge port and a boost reference fitting for blow through or pressurized carburetor applications (even beyond 30 psi of boost).

Do I have to use the return line?I've got a aromotive fuel log and return regulator on the car now with a BG 400 pump. I can't get the fuel presure below 9lbs.I'm told the dual diaphrame regulator was ment for a belt driven fuel pump. So I was gona use this regulator ahead of the fuel log inline to cut Fp down to 5lbs.I'm using a AED dominator. 632ci motor
