Most of the time you can bolt an Edelbrock Performer carb on your engine and it’s good to go. But if you have done a little tweaking on the engine you may need to tune it a bit. These kits include an assortment of metering rods and jets, one pair of metering rod retaining springs and a complete assortment of step-up springs.
You may want to order a 325-1477 rebuild kit also.

Tuning a Edelbrock carb. These jets and needles got us closer but not perfect mixture. Other jets and needles were purchased to get the a/f ratio we wanted and then we needed a different secondary jet. Wish Edelbrock included more jets and needles in kit.
