    Edelbrock 1479 Details

    Most of the time you can bolt an Edelbrock Performer carb on your engine and it’s good to go. But if you have done a little tweaking on the engine you may need to tune it a bit. These kits include an assortment of metering rods and jets, one pair of metering rod retaining springs and a complete assortment of step-up springs.

    You may want to order a 325-1477 rebuild kit also.

    Great little kit for tuning the Edelbrock Carbs. You will need a magnifying glass to read the little numbers on the parts tho or have Superman vision. Kit works great and would recommend it to anyone running a Edelbrock

    These kits from Edelbrock are very nice in that you order one for the model of carburetor that you're using and then you have lots of metering options with easy reach. The first steps in several directions from the base calibration can be reached without having to remove the top of the carburetor which is very cool.

    Why are the calibration kits for the 1405 and 1406 different if the carbs are the same with exception of manual vs auto choke? Thanks
