Edelbrock 1309-E85 Details

The Edelbrock VRS-4150 Race & Performance Carburetor 950 CFM #1309-E85 is engineered for racers and high-performance enthusiasts running E85 fuel. Designed to flow approximately 30% more fuel than conventional gasoline carburetors, this race-ready yet street-friendly carburetor features custom four-circuit billet metering blocks, annular boosters, dual 50cc accelerator pumps, and a high-capacity fuel delivery system optimized specifically for E85 applications. Its one-piece cast aluminum body fits both 4150 and 4500 flange manifolds without the need for an adapter, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of performance engines.

Built for maximum tunability and consistent fuel control, the VRS-4150 incorporates externally adjustable floats, four-corner idle adjustment, screw-in air bleeds, adjustable intermediate fuel circuits, and oversized fuel bowls designed to maintain fuel supply during hard acceleration, braking, and cornering. Additional performance-focused features include integrated TPS provisions, multiple vacuum ports, movable -6AN fuel inlets, and advanced fuel bowl baffling to reduce fuel foaming and slosh. The result is exceptional throttle response, precise tuning capability, and reliable performance on both the street and track.

CARB Warning

For race/ off road use or for use on pre-1966 vehicles.

Emissions warning: this part only legal for sale or use in California for racing (competition) vehicles which may never be used, registered, or licensed for use upon a public highway, or if installed in vehicles model-year 1965 or older; motorcycles model-year 1977 or older; or off-highway recreational vehicles (such as off-road motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles) model-year 1996 and older. Any other use renders the vehicle tampered and not legal for use on California public highways (any public street or roadway, public dirt road, public park, or publicly maintained right of way open to the use of the public for vehicular travel). Violations subject to $37,500 penalty per violation per vehicle, revocation of registration, loss of use on California public right of ways, and proof of correction for tampering. There are similar restrictions and penalties under federal law and the laws of all other states with penalties under federal law of up to approximately $45,268 per tampered vehicle and/or engine.
