Overall Assessment

Customers appreciate the aesthetic characteristics of the Eddie Meyer Intake product; it's noted it significantly enhances the look of their project. However, they express concerns about material quality, suggesting it appeared used and required additional measures (recast paint) to improve appearance. In contrast, others bought the product for its potential performance-boosting properties, placing emphasis on its straight-shot appeal to intake ports. However, doubts have been expressed regarding its operational effectiveness, highlighting a need for the air to snake to the intake ports. Despite these concerns, customers seem willing to purchase it due to its powerful visual impact.

After being a valued customer for many many years, and very satisfied with speedway products I decided to go ahead on my next project , which was to be a 1930 Henry Ford pickup, with a 53 Flathead as my powerplant, I always dreamed of an eddie meyer intake from speedway, but after receiving it I was very very disappointed,Honestly look like a used intake, I could have used a recast paint out of a can that would have looked better than this intake, even had grease smuges, worst thing was this ended up being the nicest one they had, for this amount of money it was very poor quality indeed. I ended up buying it anyway because I was to far into the build. I bought a 15 dollar can of recast paint and recast it myself thanks sppedway

The flathead tunnel ram?

I spent the extra $$$ on this manifold because A. it looks tough, and B. I thought a straight shot to the intake ports might give some performance, ala an old tunnel ram. It's a great looking piece and will really set off my flattie, but its performance is doubtful. The air will really have to do some snaking to get to the intake ports. For looks, you can't beat it. For performance????
