Doug's Headers DEC6231 Details

Doug’s Headers DEC6231 is a replacement single wiring harness for Doug’s electric exhaust cut-out systems. It’s intended to replace a damaged harness and restore reliable power and switch control to a single electric cutout, so you can open and close the bypass from the driver’s seat.

Doug’s electric cutouts use a rugged 12V gear-reduction motor with a rotating gate to create a leak-resistant seal when closed. This harness is pre-wired for straightforward installation and is typically paired with an illuminated rocker switch, making it easy to uncork the exhaust with a flip of the switch—especially useful for track or off-road setups where mufflers aren’t required.

All Doug's headers and exhaust products are guaranteed, to the original purchaser, to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year. This warranty covers the replacement or repair of the product only and does not cover the cost of removal and installation, customer applied aftermarket coatings or any other discoloration or corrosion of finished surfaces. Damage or product failure resulting from collision,improper installation, off-road use, road hazards, the use of exhaust insulting wrap or like products or rust occurring after installation, is not covered by the warranty. Should a part become defective it should be returned to the original selling retailer and must be accompanied with the original sales receipt. If there is no retailer in your area, call the factory for a return authorization and return your part prepaid to the factory for inspection. PerTronix reserves the right to replace or repair the alleged defective part and return the part freight collect.
