Doug's Headers DEC6230 Details

Doug’s Headers DEC6230 is a replacement dual cut-out wiring harness for Doug’s electric exhaust cutout systems. It’s made to bring back clean, dependable control of your cutouts by replacing a damaged or worn harness—so your open/close function works like it should from the driver’s seat.

This harness is built for 12-volt electric cutouts that use a rugged gear-reduction motor and rotating gate design for a leak-resistant seal when closed. It includes a toggle switch for simple dash-mounted operation, letting you uncork the exhaust with a quick flip when you want maximum flow—ideal for track or off-road use where mufflers aren’t required. (Replacement motor reference: DEC950.)

All Doug's headers and exhaust products are guaranteed, to the original purchaser, to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year. This warranty covers the replacement or repair of the product only and does not cover the cost of removal and installation, customer applied aftermarket coatings or any other discoloration or corrosion of finished surfaces. Damage or product failure resulting from collision, improper installation, off-road use, road hazards, the use of exhaust insulting wrap or like products or rust occurring after installation, is not covered by the warranty. Should a part become defective it should be returned to the original selling retailer and must be accompanied with the original sales receipt. If there is no retailer in your area, call the factory for a return authorization and return your part prepaid to the factory for inspection. PerTronix reserves the right to replace or repair the alleged defective part and return the part freight collect.
