Overall Assessment

Customers are generally positive about the product, highlighting its great look, quality, functionality, and affordability. It was particularly appreciated for its usability on dual carb setups, specifically the dual 2-barrel, dual 97 Stromberg, and dual Stromberg 81 carb systems. Users found it especially fit for Ford models including a flathead V-8 60hp and a 1931 model A coupe. Some users reported they had to shorten or modify the part, but still found it easier than creating their own. The product generates repeat purchases and is highly recommended by purchasers due to its value over competitors' more expensive offerings. Despite some minor issues like a loose center ball and a long spring, users found solutions and were generally satisfied.

Great item, well made

I found my sweet spot for the middle connector, slotted a notch in the rod the size of the set screw, set the screw with threadlocker. This will prevent the mid connector from sliding - I recommend this

Minor fittment modification for Henkyo 94 carbs.

I had to slightly open the ball hole to get the Henko carb ball to insert. The springs seem too long. The length measurement seems to be from opening to opening, and not to the area in the slot where the ball will sit. The center ball might need a dimple or flat spot filed onto the rod to get it to hold position. The lock nut on the center ball immediately stripped when snugging it up. All minor problems if you're building a car. I was able to cut and re-thread one end to get the length correct. Although it would have been nice for it to just snap on and fit, I did not expect a direct fit on a vintage dual carb intake, with two Japanese 94 styled carbs.

I used the linkage to connect my chokes on my dual 97 Stromberg. I had to cut it off to make it shorter and then rethread that end but it worked perfect.

Central connecting rod Are the central connecting rod are movable? Actually I am looking for a 4 3/4" double end carb linkage to connect both 9 super7 carbs with a central rod and another 9" long double end connecting rod to connect this 4 3/4" linkage to the accelerator arm on the the firewall.
