Customers appreciate our product for solving a common issue with the Daytona style pinion support in a '57 Ford with a 9" axle. Many customers found the product extremely valuable as it fits perfectly on a 9 inch ford rear end with a Daytona pinion bearing. They recommend that it be a popup suggestion on purchase of any 9" ford part, underlining its indispensability for the assembly. Despite initial issues with an over-torqued and cracked nut, a replacement performed flawlessly, underscoring reliable product quality.

Broke pinion support in '57 Ford with 9" axle. Bought a Daytona style pinion support as an upgrade/ replacement, but the pinion gear threads ended up too short to allow a standard pinion nut's locking part to engage threads. This nut solves that issue.

Needs to be a part of every Daytona drive shaft yoke sold

It should be a popup anytime a 9" ford part is sold. Had a difficult finding it even on speedway site. Part was exactly what I needed to finish assembly. Haven't put together a 9" with Daytona pinion support in a few years, so I forgot I needed a thinner nut. Throwing a popup in when buying a 9" yoke would have reminded me. But it all worked out and was the correct part for my unit.

You have to have this nut when you are running a 9 inch ford rear end with a daytona pinion bearing. The regular nut is to tall to lock onto the pinion threads.
