Just got it out of the box Instructions are Poor and it looks like I will have to modify some things it look's like if you have side wind wing's you will need to cut the Head Board Bracket's down to fit.

Your choices are limited when it comes to getting parts for a 1927 model T roadster. The black power coating/paint is thick so the sockets don't fit. So it requires a bit of messaging these parts to get things to fit.

product seems ok but instructions leave a lot to be desired, a couple of pictures which really show you what looking at the product tells you, tells you nothing about how to attach to windshield frame and that you may have to cut the wood header board to fit your frame, or no measurements as to were to mount the main bow to the body

Without real instructions, assembly is time consuming. It's on the car now, but i'm not sure if it's where it was designed to fit. I started at one location for the rear bow mount, had to drill two more holes in the body a few inches away to improve the fit.

what is the install configuration of the wing nut and stud thru the body so the unit can easily be removed? the chrome wing nut and stud, used to hold the frame to the body,is fixed: the wing nut does not unscrew fromt the stud. to remove the top, the wing nut and stud comes out together. Once the unit is installed, the lock nut is inside and under the upholstery. what is the design intent of the installation (epoxy the nut inside or remove the upholstery each time the top comes off and goes on.
