DEI 10487 Details
These heat shrouds from DEi are made from a high temperature rated glass fiber fabric with an alumized out facing. These heat shrouds are the same as Heat Sheath but with the added convenience of hook and loop closure design on the edges. You won't need to remove one end of the connected wires, cables and hoses. You will simply wrap the head shroud around whatever you need protected and close the edges.
- 2" to 2-1/2" ID x 3 feet
- Convenient hook & loop designed edges
- No need to remove wires and hoses
- Withstands 500 degree F direct or continuous 2000 degree F radiat head

I did a engine swap in my 86 Pontiac 6 door sedan. Took out the 307 and put in a 455. This changed locations and distances of lines and wires through out the car. I used these shields to protect air condition lines and wire harness. It was easy to use and worked out well.
