Speedway Motors 91645116 Details

Speedway Curtis-style radius rods have a classic shape that's more distinctive than most hairpin-style designs. At 36" in length, these are ideal for non-fendered street rods. The axle ends are tapped 5/8" NF RH threads, while the chassis ends have female 11/16" RH threads to accept Ford tie rod ends for the perfect nostalgic touch.

NOT for use with rear suspension.

The description says they are unpolished stainless. But in the details they are painted. So are these radius rods painted black?

Radius Rod Preferred Angles and Adjustments? What are the desired or preferred angles for the front and rear axles on a '23 bucket? The Radius Rods on my rod all all adjusted to the centers like nobody ever gave it any thought to adjusting to the sweet spot. I am pretty sure the rear end should be either aligned perfectly inline or slightly at a down angle to when under torque the rear end would twist upwards slightly and then be aligned. What has me confused is the tiller boat steering and the front axle adjustments. It looks to me all your radius rods are the same length on the double end, thus, not allowing for any room for axle sweet spot adjustments. I also have skinny tires up front without shocks.
