Great price point, nice for HANS

Great price point, nice American quality. They are a standard width belt, with the shoulder straps folded over and stitched to fit nicely over a HANS. Much nicer than trying to keep my last set of wide belts in the HANS.

I didn't feel the love for these

I wasn't happy the date stamped on the belts was already 8 months old , or that the expiry date on the belts had only 18 months to go . What did annoy me was the steel belt adjustment device on the lap belts ,, it's almost 4" wide and sits right on your thigh and stomach area . It's digging into you ??? I don't understand why there hasn't been more complaints about this design ? I hate to be in a big rollover /wreck and this chunk of steel is digging into my stomach and thigh . I didn't help that the staff member at SM was disinterested in my opinion/assessment of the product and only after some heated discussion about the product not being "fit for purpose " that he agreed to give me a credit if I sent the item back . In summary ,, there's better products available for the same price or a little more . I'd rather throw it in the bin than use it

I purchased because the Simpson belts I was going to get were going to take longer to ship and I needed belts ASAP i was skeptical but I needed them and man when I pulled them out of the box they are much nicer than any of my other Simpson belts i have had. Will be purchasing crow from now on

This shows bolt in type belts but all I need is the lap belts to bolt in the rest are wrapped around roll cage. Can the bolt mounting hardware on these belts just be removed so I can wrap what's needed?

When I order these belts do you stamp the date from time of purchase or they pre stamped. My racing class only gives us a 2 year window before replacement. Thanks.
