This mirror is awesome!

I recently attended the MARC Model A Ford convention in French Lick, IN. I noticed several cars with a wing window mounted side view mirror. On my car, the existing side view mirrors are unusable, because they require looking through the wing windows which add a myriad of additional reflections. The wing window mounted mirror solves that issue and works perfectly. It's well made, easy to mount, and very sturdy.

windwing mirror

Actually purchased inexpensive convex mirrors that use double sided tape and rotate 360 degrees. Put them on top of existing mirror and dramatically improved field of vision. If you have no mirror, this is a good solution which is made well

I clamp this on the vent window of the old racecar. The plastic/rubber pads could be a little more sticky. Other than that, it works

How do these mount? I have a 1947 Lincoln Continental Convertible with side vent wing windows with chrome frame trim about 3/8" thick. Is this what you refer to as a wind wing? A picture or dimensions of clamp mechanism would help greatly. There are dozens or hundreds of old Lincoln owners who would consider these if application works. thanks
