45 years as a GM Technician and I have to say this has got to be the cheapest made tools ever made. It broke first time using it and was Not able to do the job! balancer was barley on the crank when it let go huge chunk of metal broke off big threaded rod it all threaded in nicely and looked promising till it left me stuck. I have installed hundreds of Balancers and never had this happen to me. this is Not hardened steel its cheap soft steel not worth the money. I will be calling speedway on this one Very disappointed . the old block of wood and a hammer worked better then this tool. poor quality steel.
I would not buy this again to use on a 302 Ford.

I bought this to install a 50 oz balancer on a ford 302 engine. It would not work at all for that application, although the adapters were includrd in the kit.
