Compact Filter Mounts Almost Anywhere, Providing Easy Filter Inspection and Servicing

Ensuring your race car or performance street vehicle has plenty of clean fuel is critical to achieving top performance from your engine. The last thing you want is to be at the back of the pack or on the side of the road due to lack of fuel pressure or volume from a race car fuel filter element that is completely blocked by debris. Being able to inspect your cleanable fuel filter (or replace it) quickly and easily is paramount to being ready for the next race or your next road trip.

Our black anodized aluminum 6-inch inline fuel filter is the perfect solution for your race car or high-performance street machine running a carburetor or mechanical fuel injection (though this filter can be used as a pre-pump filter in aftermarket EFI fuel systems as well). With a main body of 6-inches that houses a stainless steel 140 micron filter that is 3-3/4-inches long, and your choice of inlet and outlet fittings with AN thread, this inline fuel filter achieves an overall length of just 7-1/8 inches that allows it to be fitted almost anywhere on your race car’s frame or roll cage.

Compatible With Gasoline and Methanol Fuels

The in line fuel filter media is suitable for standard gasoline and methanol fuels.   The 2-inch outside diameter makes this race car fuel filter compatible with several popular mounting solutions (see full list in our installation details). If black isn’t your thing, we do offer a 6-inch version with a purple body. A 10-inch filter model, available in both purple and black finishes is also an option.

Well made fuel filter that will last.

This is a filter similar to one I use on my sport airplane. So happy to find an equivalent without the price associated with "airplane" parts. It is easy to service on an annual basis with a stainless steel mesh filter that can be back flushed. It should be durable and long lasting.

This filter is NOT alcohol/methanol compatible. The adhesive that holds the end caps of the stainless steel element to the filter portion disintegrated into powder in the first use. This powder was sucked through the fuel system and completely obstructed the number of the injector nozzles. The engine threw a rod out the side of the block. I'm out thousands of dollars because this product performed that exact opposite as it was intended.

Honestly I have not installed this yet. So I cannot speak on how it works or if it leaks. But for the price it's built very well. As long as it works with no leaks I would buy it again.
