Overall Assessment

Customers speak highly of our product, noting its high-quality design, improved travel over previous shocks, and easy installation. It stands out for its excellent handling and appealing look. The shocks are reported to significantly enhance car ride comfort, even in vehicles with limited room. Their performance remains solid even over long mileage, with one customer reporting superb ride after 10K miles. While a larger bushing sleeve inclusion is preferred, the product is highly recommended and considered the best shock for hotrods and street rods.

Can these shocks be run inverted?

Are they designed to be used for horizontal installation (axle damper) AKA Quad Shock The rear of my car has (4) shocks. Two of them are the normal vertically mounted strut shocks and the other two are horizontally mounted axle dampers. I need a shock replacement for the damper shocks. My shocks collasped length is 9" and extended length is 11". Lincoln has discontinued this shock so no OEM is available. Can the Bilstein F4-BOA-0000836 be mounted horizontally without problem?
