U-boat works perfectly.

This U-bolt strap kits allows you to tighten drive shaft without the worries of over tightening and crushing the U-joint caps. I would recommend this product to any race car driver.

Misadvertised ... NOT 1-1/2" bolt-to-bolt

These are described with "Center to center distance between the holes in the strap measures 1-1/2"" ... that is NOT correct (see attached picture). The actual distance is 1-9/16" center-to-center/bolt-to-bolt. If your yoke requires exactly 1-1/2" center-to-center, as mine does, these will not fit and prompt you to either hammer the bolts into place or enlarge the holes toward the center about 1/32" on each side in order to make it fit.

Used these on my ford 9" big cap yoke. My yoke was a little messed up from using the wrong size u joint so I had to fix that up before fitting the caps. Very nice strong design and once fitted correctly will not squash u joint cap like u bolt style retainers
