This LED third brake light is 2" tall and 7" wide. There is one wire coming through the base for power. A ground wire would be attached to the bottom of the mounting bolts at the base. Wire this third brake light in conjunction with tail lights. This LED third brake light is billet aluminum with a red lens. While 7" wide, LED bulbs only light the center portion of the tail light, as pictured.

Beautiful housing, Pathetic lights
I loved the way this brake light looked, but I was underwhelmed when I saw the lights come on. There are 6 LED's that are in this thing and they're all soldered to a little circuit board. There's a gap between the two groups of 3 LED's to make space for the resistor. I was knowledgeable enough with electronics so I soldered together my own LED arrangement and now I think it looks much better. I mocked up the original light in my back window, I'll upload the modified light photo when I've finished installing it in the car.

Received two of these,both failed
Put two of these in my 34 Ford both failed in the first few miles. Put in a $6 led I got at a truck stop and it's been working for the last 2 weeks. Wasted my time building a custom window mount for your light. Your tech department was of no help

It's easy to install and looks great. Only way to improve it would be to make it swivel front to back for better. Alignment. Very good product.
