Lets you balance your Big Block Chevy 454 engine with a 350 flywheel (manual transmission flywheel or automatic transmission flex plate) and a bolt-on balancing plate.

Allows use of lighter 350 flywheel to rev quicker
Fits between the crankshaft and flexplate
Correctly balances the engine without resorting to a big heavy flywheel
Precision stamped steel plate
Road and race tested
Can be used in conjunction with a 153 tooth flywheel/flexplate

Note: The weight welded to this plate is positioned to the block side of the plate.

I would buy this product again but, please beef up the instruction sheet for future buyers or they need to stamp the part with "This Side to engine", Or "This side to Flywheel" make it dummy-proof. Part appears well built though.

If you bolt it to the crankshaft and the 350 turbohydramatic flex plate it will warp the flex plate

I have a lot of parts laying around my shop, but no 454 flywheels. This allows me to use one of the many 350 flywheels I have, for a lot less money than buying a new big block flywheel. I really should buy 10 of these and have them on the shelf.
