Not near the thickness of (stock) gaskets(1948) more like paper on distributor/timimg cover/oil fill / water pump,,ect. they all leaked without sealer, were as no sealer was used on stock but the oil pan.I also expected an intake gasket with most short block kits?

Be aware this kit doesn't come with everything you'd need. It's missing the front rope seal. Odd that they'd give you the pan gasket, timing chain gasket, rear seal but no front seal?
