    Belltech 9148 Details

    Belltech designed the Nitro Drop 2 shock set to provide the Truck and SUV market with a unique blend of shock tuning. This new setup concentrates on the Comfort level while also increasing the overall performance of the complete suspension system.
    Designed with the daily driver Truck and SUV customer in mind, Belltech Engineers increased the low speed compression and massaged the rebound forces of the shock valving providing a factory style ride comfort while providing better road feel and grip.
    The Nitro Drop 2 line features application specific shortened bodies to match with the different lowering methods, ensuring you have the correct amount of shock travel for any of our Belltech Lowering Kits and Components.

    Shocks features include: Metal dust boots, Hardened Chrome 12.5mm piston rods, Triple lip NBR rod seal, Teflon guide bushing, 30mm pistons w/ low friction Teflon seals, 45mm wide body for increased oil volume & OEM quality rubber bushings

    I put a lowered suspension on my truck when I had the whole truck apart. I didn't want to slam it so I went with a 3/5 drop and I wanted to put better money elsewhere so I originally bought a cheap lowering kit. The kit itself was fine but it came with Maxtrac shocks which I had never heard of before. It did give the truck a good look but the ride was pretty bad. The s to shocks constantly bottom out in the rear and it's feels like I'm hiring potholes even on minor bumps. So I found that most Chevy guys are using these Belltech's. So if swapped po you t the shocks only and what a huge difference it made. Now the ride just feels like an everyday truck instead of a lowered truck. All the small bumps don't even register anymore. I'm excited to put more miles on them over the next few days after driving only 2000 miles with those bad ones. For those wondering, the ride isn't as smooth as a new car with new technology. It still drives like a lowered truck but just not brutal. Should save my back.

    Look great. Easy to install. Plenty of motion in and out. Haven't tried them out really. The 84 c10 has 5/8 drop. Hopefully they are enough to not bottom out on the frame. When I have it the way I like, lm going to pull it apart paint everything. 👍
