I put this in an under-dash mount and had no problems installing it. It came with the temp sensor and it fit perfect in my Chevy L05 350 small block. My old gauges are 70 years old and not usable with the engine up-grade and 12V conversion. It was nice to find a 1940's "looking" gauge set so it didn't look too modern. Autometer is a good quality gauge.
