Quality aftermarket add a dash for 68 Camaro
I had finished my 68 Camaro last year and bought a New padded dash at Carlisle swap meet from a Camaro vendor. This dash didn't even last a year and a car was in my heated garage. I had talk to the local restore and he told Me that most after market dashes are trash. I found out that the Al Knoch are one of the best after market padded dashes for gen 1 Camaro's made thank you Speedway. TASMAN56

The dash pad looked and installed well. Big draw back was that the studs on it that are used to bolt it down does not have the nuts included.For the price I expected it to come ready to install.

Installed on 68 RS/SS, looks very good not as good as stock one did. It would be nice if itvwas offered with the chrome trim. It is better fitting then one I bought few years ago. Biggest complaint would have to be mounting studs they are just maybe glued into the plastic, ihad to grind slots in the studs for a small screwdriver to hold while I tightened the nuts

Dash pad for 1968 SS/RS Camaro. The one from classic industries warped, was poorly constructed and had plastic Christmas tree style clips. The one from Speedway was reinforced with steel and had steel clips. Totally legit!

Installed in abut 15 minutes. No special tools required. I have an original chrome inset dash on my convertible, and this was for the hardtop. A great alternative to finding and having someone restore an original deluxe dash. Has the look and finish of an original.
