Customers value the product for its quality and functionality. The temperature sensor performs well and is easy to install. However, a slight concern arises from its plastic top which customers find to be a bit flimsy. Some users had to adjust its positioning since the terminal extends upright, causing minor cracks. Despite this, they find the sensor reliable and would purchase it again, due to its overall superiority over competitive products.

The only complaint I have for this sensor is the cheap plastic top and the fact that the terminal sticks straight up. Some applications may need to be bend down a bit, which cracks the plastic.

I have a 1955 Chevy 2nd Series 6 cyl pickup and a new gauge cluster with an electric temperature gauge. Does anyone know if this Afco 230 Degree water temperature sending unit will work with my new electric gauge? If not, does anyone know what sending unit will work? It must have a 1/2 inch thread. The alternative is buy another new gauge with the old mechanical capillary tube. Thanks. Bob
