All In One Solution for Brake Distribution and Rear Brake Bias Adjustments
Adding an adjustable brake proportioning valve to your vehicle helps dial in the exact amount of fluid pressure to the rear brakes that you desire for your vehicle’s brake type, weight, and tire contact patch, but plumbing your new braking system on your project vehicle does not have to be difficult. You can easily save yourself time and frustration by utilizing our compact distribution block with built in adjustable brake proportioning valve and brake light pressure switch. Instead of using a bunch of brass fittings, or an ancient combination valve that might not be setup properly for your brake system, and then tossing in an adjustable proportioning valve somewhere in the rear brake line (and hope you can reach it easily enough for adjustment), this little wonder will do it all for you.
We Make It Easy with a Pre-Bent Mounting Bracket and Lines
We designed our adjustable brake proportioning valve distribution block to be easy to install and plumb for any system. We include a .123-inch thick pre-bent mounting bracket designed to work with standard horizontal two bolt/stud master cylinder mounting patterns that places the block horizontally under the master cylinder. This provides a clean mounting solution while keeping the lines to from the master cylinder to the distribution block short. Stainless steel pre-bent lines are included to plumb your master cylinder to the block as well.
Easy Adjustability for Any Braking System, Disc or Drum
Compatible with four-wheel drum, disc/drum, or disc/disc brake systems, the aluminum distribution block is machined for standard 3/8-24 double flare fittings for both the IN and OUT ports to use common 3/16-inch brake lines. Furthermore, we have included two front OUT ports to allow plumbing the front brakes separately, or you can plug one port with a standard 3/8-24 male flare port plug and use an inline tee elsewhere in your engine compartment (perfect for under floor master cylinder applications).
The rear portion of the distribution block feeds a single outlet that you can adjust brake fluid pressure output on via the built in brake proportioning valve, sometimes referred to as a brake bias adjuster, with a simple rotary adjustment knob. If your classic truck or muscle car is using a factory 1/4-inch rear brake line (common on rear drum applications back in the day) you can use the included brake line adapter that will allow the 1/4-inch line’s 7/16-24 fitting to thread in. Once plumbed the adjustment knob allows simple and easy rear brake circuit bias adjustments right at the master cylinder.
Includes Brake Light Pressure Switch and Comes in Black or Chrome Finishes
Available in a black or chrome finish, the choice is yours if you want our brake distribution block with adjustable proportioning valve to disappear under your hood or stand out with some flash. The included brake light pressure switch allows factory or aftermarket brake light circuit wiring to be connected for your vehicle’s brake light circuit without the hassle of fabricating a brake switch mounting bracket under the dash. This is especially helpful on compact hot rods with little room behind the dash, or for vehicles with floor mounted master cylinders and brake pedal arms where an electrical contact switch is difficult to incorporate. At just under 4-inches long and barely and 2 inches wide (horizontally mounted) our distribution block fits in the tightest of engine compartments or along frame rails.

Looks Awesome!
I have not completed the installation yet. The fittings from the valve to my master cylinder are too small. I need to find some adapters to make it fit. It would be great if it came with adapters to fit different master cylinders. It would also be great if the bracket was slotted so you don't have to remove the booster, you could just loosen it. I look forward to getting it installed and working on my 53 chevy 3100.

A few short of a good
A few issues: The plate that it is supposed to mount to hits the top of the brake light switch, which the top of it is slightly taller than the actual block for the proportioning valve. I added two thick washers between the two, solving the problem, but it wasn't going to work well out of the box. The supplied input lines were OK, but they are installed so close to the brake light switch and the proportioning valve that a normal tubing wrench is too bulky to fit. A open end wrench does not fit. I had to ruin stubby combination 3/8 wrench by cutting an opening in the box end side for the tubing, and its thin walls were sufficient to allow me to tighten the input lines. The Rear brake output is located on the rear of the valve block, which when installed in a car is extremely awkward to get the line installed. Luckily the wrench I made in prior step helped me with slight angle tweaks to the line I just made to get it lined up to screw in, but it was all by feel. The valve itself says Increase / Decrease and there are no directions. I thought this meant "Increase rear brake" so I adjusted that way. But that is NOT how it works, INCREASE means REDUCE rear brake. Other than those problems, now it seems to working well and solving the problem I had of adding new brake components to an older classic car and having the brakes work properly.

The IN/OUT ports leaked. I love products from Speedway Motors, but don't buy this product. Read the reviews, I made the mistake and didn't do that.

This proportioning valve bolted up fine but I could not get the lines to stop leaking. Seems like the cone on the inside of the valve that meets up with the brake line flare isn't high enough to seal

The bracket didn't fit the master cylinder bolt pattern too narrow had to grind the holes bigger. Also the 3/8 tap for the brake lines isn't tapped deep enough I had to grind each fitting end too work other options double flare ends. Also has to cut down bracket to be able to remove brake light switch. Definitely could have been designed better but hope what I did works.
