ARP 100-7730 C5 Corvette 1/2" Wheel Studs, 5 Piece

ARP 100-7730 is a 5-piece wheel stud kit designed to convert a C5 Corvette (1997–2004) to 1/2”-20 wheel studs using a short stud length. It’s built for performance-minded installs where you want stronger, more common 1/2”-20 hardware, while maintaining a compact stud profile suited for the C5 hub/wheel setup. The knurl dimensions and hole-size tolerances are critical here—proper fit comes from matching the hub material (cast iron/steel vs. aluminum) and drilling/reaming to the correct range so the knurl seats securely.

This kit uses a 0.509" knurl diameter with a 0.300" knurl length, along with a 0.300" nose length to help start the stud during installation. If you’re installing into an aluminum hub, note the recommended 12.5mm (0.492") drill size is not a common standard bit size; you’ll typically drill undersize and then use an appropriately sized reamer to bring the hole into spec so the stud presses in correctly.
