Overall Assessment

Customers highly value the pinion retaining ring for its confirmed quality, being identical to original Ford parts. Users repeatedly deem it a necessary item for differential assembly and replacing the pinion pilot bearing. Although not typically included in overhaul kits, customers insist on its essential role and consistently comment on it as a superior-quality part, distinguishing it from competitors. Additionally, customers highlight it to be as good as factory-made alternatives. Despite any comments on shipping speed, positive customer reviews underscore the product's practicality and excellent craftsmanship.

Not sure why these aren't included in the overhaul kits, but if you can get the old one out in reusable condition, you're better than me. Good quality and a must have to replace the pinion pilot bearing.
