Overall Assessment

Customers find the product to be a quality air cleaner at an excellent price. They appreciate its compact size, making it a perfect fit for small spaces, and the old-school, chrome aesthetics. Heavily recommended for its high performance on various carburetors, it has even superseded some competitor products in terms of value for money. However, some users had concerns about the length of the mounting studs, which they needed to replace for a better fit, reinforcing the product's overall practicality and usability despite minor issues.

Great Value

I bought this for a demolition derby car. It works great! It is small and out of the way and seems great for air flow. Not to mention it looks good too. The only problem I had was that the hold down nut on top stripped out when I tightened it down. Put a new one on it and it works great.

Rods too short

The threaded rods provided to attach filter to carb are way too short for Edelbrock carbs no matter how far out to try to attach, had to go out and buy longer rods.

The mounting stud is .5" too short for Edelbrock carbs. The "wing nut" is threaded for 2 size mounting studs?, not enough thread to keep tight - i'm replacing with a regular wing nut. With shipping it is still cheaper than Spectra at local parts store.

can you receive a filter to fit this product which is 4" tall instead of 2 1/2 ". I have an older carb on 56 ford with 5 1/8 " base but inner bowl & workings are tall.
