These new kits feature a pressure plate with over 1700 lbs of clamping force. The clutch disc is unique in that it uses a double spring which is held in place by a unique spring retaining plate design.

Kits come complete with a pilot bearing, clutch disc, pressure plate and an alignment tool.

Yes, this is an imported product (pressure plate stamped "Mexico", but of high quality, nevertheless. After working as an engineer in Manufacturing for over 40 years, I have learned not to make generalizations about products' country of origin, just each product individually. The clutch disc is also a high quality item, thick friction facing, rivets are attached well. The kit even includes an alignment tool. I was unable to use the pilot bushing that is also included, because the Cadillac 500 crankshaft will require me to machine my own (along with a custom Cadillac flywheel). For regular Chevrolet applications the pilot bushing will be just fine.
