Save Time Building Your Custom Brake and Fuel Lines for Your Project
Not every fluid line project can be completed using pre-made bulk hard line, and even if you can, it often requires adapters to change fitting types when moving from one style of brake fitting to another. While functional, using pre-made hard line and an adapter isn’t the most appealing visually. This is especially of concern in highly visual areas like your engine compartment. Crafting a custom hard line of the proper length with the specific tube nut needed for your master cylinder, brake valve, fuel pump, etc. not only cleans things up visually, but lets everyone know you have built a truly custom ride.
Creating the perfect brake, fuel, or transmission line not only requires a quality tube bender but a tube flaring kit that you can trust to make the correct high quality flare on the first try and not waste a bunch of brake or fuel line material. There’s nothing worse than bending up that perfect brake or fuel line only to destroy it using a poor-quality brake line flaring tool. That cheap tool store flare tool for brake lines, or worse, the brake line flaring tool kit from the local auto parts loan-a-tool program that has missing or damaged tool parts, is not what you want to use when flaring that perfectly bent piece of 3/8-inch stainless steel fuel line! Do it once and do it right by using a quality turret-style brake line flaring tool kit.
Accurate and Precise Line Flaring for Steel, Aluminum, And Other Hard-Line Materials
A turret-style line brake flaring tool kit is a much more robust flaring tool compared to the typical brake line flaring tool you may have used in the past. Its design places the forming dies in a single tool component, making the switch from the forming flare to the finishing flare a quick and easy operation with the included forming handle. We offer both 45-degree and 37-degree flaring tools. For those that have already purchased our 45-degree turret-style flaring tool we have provided the 37-degree turret and die set here as an add on versus buying the complete 37-degree tool, saving you money on buying redundant pieces of the flaring kit.
Once you’ve used a single flare tool for brake lines like this one, you’ll never go back to the old style 37-degree flaring tools. Like the 45-degree double flare operation of the turret-style tool, you simply secure your tubing into the flare forming die via your 45-degree kit’s T-handle screw clamp and a quick pull of the forming handle creates the forming flare. Then simply rotate the turret die to the second stage position for the same size flare being made and pull the handle again to create the finishing flare. Single flare operations of different size tubing can all be managed with the same turret wheel without breaking down the complete tool, making moving from one size of flare to another incredibly easy. The 37-degree turret and die kit accommodates 3/16-, 1/4-, 5/16-, and 3/8-inch tubing sizes.
Perform 37-Degree Single Flares for AN or JIC Brake, Fuel, And Other Fluid Lines
Transitioning from a hard line to a length of AN hose is common when you are connecting a hard line mounted on the body or frame to a component that has vibration, such as the engine or transmission. Whether it is custom AN brake and fuel lines on your hot rod or muscle car, or you’re needing to create some new hydraulic hard lines for some shop or farm equipment, our 37-degree single flare turret and die kit for your existing 45-degree turret-style flare tool will handle your AN and JIC 37-degree single flare needs.
