I used these 30 deg elbows to build as smooth as possible exhaust system for my 55 Chevy 4x4 truck. The elbows allowed me to tuck the exhaust up next to the frame out of harms way without sharp bends. The slip joint connections allowed me to fit everything together and mark welding points saveing time and costly mistakes . The smooth mandrel bends do not cause exhaust turbulence in the pipe creating a smoother tone.
