The master cylinder combined with the booster still hit the Z bar for my clutch, this is not intended for a 1965 Ford Mustang with manual transmission, and you don't need it if it is an automatic transmission.

I have a 66 Mustang, that was originally a straight 6 with a manual transmission. I now have a 289 with a C4 automatic transmission in it. It still however has the 3 pedals. Should I be using this bracket, or part number 9106466?
