Excellent product!

Quickly replaces the hard to find SBC flywheel and balances the engine. The balancing plate is very easy to install correctly, especially with the available bolt kit. Without this balancing plate or 400 flywheel my engine vibrated the whole car at approximately 2000 RPM to the extent I am confident total engine failure would have occurred at very low mileage. Great product for actual car builders!

Excellent product but you may have to modify slightly

I found the angles at the outside edge interfered with the shoulder on the flywheel but by grinding the angles into a smooth radius the plate was able to fit flush against the back of the flywheel.

I'm using this with my 153 tooth internally balanced 350 flywheel instead of buying a new flywheel for my 383 saving me around 300 dollars.

Due to the flywheel being moved rearward .110" after installing this plate, will the starter still engage the flywheel teeth properly?

I am replacing a 400 CI small block with a 383 stroker. Trans is a TH350, 2000 stall. I rebuilt the trans and will be installing the 383 stroker soon. The 383 has an Eagle internally balanced rotating assembly. Do I need the balance plate and what flexplate do I need. Bolt pattern measures 11" on the old torque converter. 2 piece main.
