1955 235 fuel pump (perfect fit)

The new fuel pump was easy to install and fit perfect. Just a heads up for any one changing one on a 235 6 cyl there is a spring pin sticking out in the way for removing the 2 mount bolts on the old pump making it difficult to get a socket or closed end wrench on. you will not find this problem on the new fuel pump from SPEEDWAY MOTORS .

Totally Unreliable, Be Aware

After professionally installed on my fully-restored 1953 Chevy pickup I was only able to travel a quarter of a mile before the fuel pump quit in full highway traffic! I had to have the pickup towed back to the garage to have the fuel pump replaced with another brand. Now the pickup runs great!
