Speedway Motors 91036008 Details
After more than fifty years of use, the original upper shock mounts on the front of your vintage Ford pickup are likely worn out, damaged or missing. These forged steel upper shock mounts are reproductions of those used on 1948-1952 Ford F1 trucks, but are also adaptable to other beam-axle hot rods. The F1 shock mounts were popular on early-style hot rods where an upgrade to telescoping shocks over lever shocks was desired.
Forged from the finest steel, these zinc-plated mounts are available in 5-1/2" or 6-1/2" lengths (measured from the centerline of the stud to the center of the top bolt hole) and accept shocks with 5/8" I.D. bushings. Hardware is included.

These were a starting point for my '32 hi-boy shock mounts. I cut and relocated the mounting points so the 7/16 bolts that hold the shock mount double up to secure the front cross member. I think they look pretty good and they will definitely do the job. I would buy them again.
