Overall Assessment

Customers appreciated the product's high-quality, durable stainless steel material and appealing chrome or polished finish that enhanced the look of their engines. They deemed it a great project addition, improving the cleanliness and appearance of the engine bay. The ease of installation was appreciated as it helped save time. The kit was found to be an excellent replacement for older, worn-out radiator hoses in various models of cars. However, some customers noted that the hose lengths were at times too short for specific applications, notably for pickups, while some found supplied clamps not to be stainless steel as advertised. Nonetheless, customers would recommend the product and buy it again, valuing its quality and aesthetic appeal.

I would buy this again. Very pleased.

The water outlet on the left side head is slightly closer to the radiator than the right side. So, the left side pipe needed a slight pie cut on the end to shorten the pipe and acheive the proper angle and not end up with a kink in the hose. Also had to shorten both right and left upper hoses about 1/2 inch. Other than that, this product is top notch. The hoses and clamps are high quality and look great. I've put about 30 miles on my 1947 ford since installing these hoses, and have had no problems or leaks. I'm very pleased.

Looks Great

Bought The Kit. Specified 1937 thru 1948 Flathead. I Had To Cut 4 1/2" Off The Top Of The Tubes To Make Them Fit. Not A Bolt On Kit For A 1938 Ford Standard. Have Not Had Any Problems Though. Looks Great.

I used the coolant lines to replace the old wore out and broken rubber lines. At first I was going to go back Rubber but the cost was comparable by the time i purchase two rubber lines.

It's a radiator hose, not much to comment on. It does what it's supposed to do.

Great quality, finish. Fits OEM middle of head outlet and stock radiator. Likely too long for custom (aluminum) radiators with wider heads.

Haven't installed yet, but the rad pipes are not the same shape as the originals, and are a little bit short. the top bent radius is not sharp enough to go in to the rad. I think I'll be able to make it work with a longer rad hose at the top, but the ones in the kit won't work. As the pipe is a little bit shorter as well, i'm hoping it wont create a kink in the hose, as the rad and pipe won't line up nicely.

Bought these because I had to get an aftermarket radiator. Exactly what I needed. I opted for the stainless steel and happy I did. Well made and quality. Gray addition for the Flathead for sure!!!

Since my radiator outlets are closer than the 15" of these tubes I'd like to know if the tube diameter away from the formed ends is truelove 1-3/4". I would like to cut the end close to the radiator and use a bent rubber hose to make the connection there. Thanks

Hi, Can you please provide more detail regarding the top pipe bend? My radiator has straight 1 3/4" outlets and I can't tell whether your kit would work with them. Are the top bends such that a straight in connection to the radiator is possible? Thanks

measurements Do you have the rise and reach dimensions? I am looking for hoses for a flathead in a non-Ford vehicle with a '32 flathead radiator. I have center outlet heads. Overall would be similar to an A-V8. Thanks.

SS hose kit to an Offenhauser aluminum head The hose ends with this kit are 1-3/4 inch but my Offenhauser aluminum heads water outlets are 2 inches. I can't stretch them on. Your hose adapters are 1-3/4 inch max. Can you offer any solution? I bought it all from Speedway. Thank you, Bob
