Speedway Motors 91631959 Details

This kit adapts our brake booster/master cylinder (not included) to the left frame rail (boxed or open channel) of a 1940-48 Chevy passenger car frame. Bracket bolts to frame (slight trimming may be required). Sturdy, steel pedal arm can easily be heated and bent to clear any obstacles your car may have. Round pedal pad screws onto pedal to finish the installation. 

Pedal assembly kit includes zinc plated bracket, pedal, pedal pad and hardware.

Will this mount work and provide clearance for a 7" Brake Booster and a corvette style master cylinder. I have converted to a V8 and 700R4 transmission and using a Chassis Engineering tubular cross member. I purchased a kit from another vendor and the mount they sent was for a stock frame and cross member. The frame is still stock "Top Hat" style. Thanks

In order to mount the bracket to the frame (top hat), the bolts must be about 3 inches long to pass through the frame. Are the necessary bolts included? Also, if one were to purchase a master cylinder/booster (single or dual diaphragm) would replacement parts be available through a local NAPA or other parts source if I were to need a master cylinder suddenly for example? In other words, are these common parts to specific vehicles. Thank you in advance, Paul Ontario, Canada
