Details
These forged steel steering arms will attach to all 1937-48 Ford spindles but their greater drop, 3-3/4" from spindle mount holes means they work best on 1935-48 Ford cars (with spring-over front axle). Clears most radius rods and wishbones. These steering arms accept 11/16" Ford 7 degree "tapered" tie rod ends (both the top and bottom are tapered to allow tie rods to mount above or below arm as needed). You can drill-through with a 5/8" bit to use spherical rod ends.
Use a 46" eye-to-eye tie rod link when used with a 48" wide axle with Ford spindles.

Customers appreciated the high quality and great fit of the product, which they used largely for classic and vintage car restoration and modification. Building and set-up processes were described as straightforward, and the parts performed well, offering solid value for the cost. Some customers suggested that the product might benefit from the inclusion of bolts required for installation, but overall, they found the components to be reliable, practical, and visually appealing. They provided positive reviews regarding the product's usability, performance, and material quality, often favorably comparing it to competitor products. Despite some minor fit adjustments and machining imperfections noted, the product was recommended for purchase given its dependability and efficacy in use. In particular, the feature of clearance for car frame and steering was highlighted, and the arms were reported to have enhanced the look and functionality of the vehicles.

Product fit perfect
I'm running stock wishbones, stock steering box, a 4" drop axle and Posies spring. These dropped arms allowed everything to line up perfectly. The only issue, I had to do some modification to my disk brake brackets on my '38 to get these to work. If I didn't have disk brakes, theses steering arms would have fit perfectly. I wish bolts were included because I had to do a lot of running around to find 1/2" x 1" fine thread bolts.

Nice looking
Product looks and operates great now . Only issue I had with it is that it actually rubbed on the axle while turning I could not make a complete turn so I had to slightly grind the axle and the alarm for clearance . And I had to re-tapped the threads because the bolt would only thread in half ways before stopping . Works great I would just choose a different style arm next time

With the tie rod in the upper position, it would have impacted the front crossmember as the springs flexed. These drop steering arms are low enough that the tie rod sits under the radius arms and do not impact anything during spring flex. The arms are machined with a 7 degree fit on both top and bottom for tie rod ends to have options.

I ended up with the 1-3/4" stainless drop arms. Both these and the 1-3/4" are a thing of beauty. I love the look of my all stainless steel front end it is a show stopper for sure!

Have a dropped axle and Speedway split wishbones. The dropped steering arms, coupled with dual tapers (top or bottom tie rod install) provide a simple solution for drag and tie rod clearance in a cross steer setup .

Only received one the first time and bolted it in and called and sent me another set. Worked great with round spindles and the 4" drop axle on a 34 ford with fenders
