Customers highly recommend our hood latches for their exceptional quality and function. Perfect for classic cars such as 1929 Pontiac, 1939 Dodge truck, and 1950 Ford F1, these latches offer a great fit and effectiveness. Appreciated for their resemblance to original parts, fine finish, and strong spring tension, they outperform cheaper, poorly constructed alternatives. Some customers had slight aesthetic concerns relating to the metal handle, but overall, users report significant satisfaction, attesting to great value, usability, and superb material quality.

Nice Looking Part
Installed hood latches on my '34 Ford Pickup. Look great against the flat black paint. I did not like the furnished bolts so I replaced them with polished stainless button head bolts.

Not well made
Instead of a rivet, hook should be welded in place. The hook would not hold down the hood correctly. I had to drill holes and install stainless screws.

I used these on a 1931 Dodge DH Business Coupe. They were pretty close to the originals and the hole spacing was the same so they worked good.
