Overall Assessment

The product is appreciated for its quality material and its usability for setting up new clutch/pressure plate, ensuring even pressure. However, some customers reported issues with the opening for the shifter shaft being too small, requiring reaming for fitting. Additionally, some customers found the machined parts to be at an angle, resulting in difficulty in assembly. Despite this, clients valued its practicality and still recommend it as a replacement part. Please note that most customers compared our products to competitors and found ours to be superior.

It is important to use a new piece like this when setting up your new clutch/pressure plate to ensure even pressure. However I did find that I had to put a 7/8" reamer through the shaft boss as it would not fit the new 7/8" shaft . It was also out of round??

I bought 2 of theses fork one from Speedway and another company. They were both the same. Both poorly machined, one had the pin hole drill off center and at an angle, the other while drill on center was still drilled at an angle. There was no way to get the pin through the shaft and the pin hole in the fork. I had to ream the fork and the shaft assembed, which resulted in a loose fit on the lower side of the fork. I used this assembly with the Speedway flat head transmission adapter for a Muncie 4 speed to a flat head adapter from Cling's for my Model A 4 banger in my Speedster.
